How do you trade if you have a job?
This question will be passed on forever.  Most people do not have the time to dedicate daily to the stock market.  The market opens in the morning at 9:30 and closes in the afternoon at 4:00, eastern time.  6:30 - 1:00 for those of you on the West Coast.  This is very inconvenient timing for those of us that have a job but would like to trade stocks.  Inconvenient, not impossible.  First of all, you do not have to trade every day, let's get that out of the way.  If you are trading well and focusing on only the best risk to reward trades then the profits will come.  Sometimes the best traders in the world don't make a trade because sometimes the best position to have is no position at all.  Secondly, you do not have to be a day trader.  Plenty of traders out there swing trade.  In fact, a small percentage of my strategy involves swing trading and I have certain technical indicators I look for everyday to find a stock that I can hold for longer than a day.  There are plenty of traders that have a day trading portfolio as well as a swing trading portfolio.  I will hold these stocks for days, weeks, or however long my indicators tell me to hold for.  Though the majority of my strategy is day trading, some people hate this strategy because they are not comfortable with it, and that's okay.  Trading is all about finding strategies and indicators that not only work but that you are comfortable with.  Now, if you would like to try day trading but cannot because of a job, well, join the club.  Let me just say this, some people are willing to take more risk than others.  Some people are fortunate enough to be around a computer at their job.  I've had a lot of people tell me they trade from their mobile phones.  Some people like to anticipate which stock could gap-up in the morning.  This requires them to make a call based on the stock's daily chart and any potential catalysts swirling around the stock, all of which could take 5 minutes to figure out.  Bottom line is, if you would like to trade then start learning how to trade.  All of your questions will be answered in time.  Don't kick the can down the road.  You can start learning how to swing trade and end up as a day trader or vise versa.  It is important to know at least a little bit about each craft.  This also helps you better understand the markets and how they work.  Also, not having any money to trade is not an excuse for not learning.  You will not magically have money one day and be ready to start trading.  It takes dedication just as anything else.  Remember, this isn't a get-rich-quick scheme.  Also remember, slow progress is still progress.  Keep learning!

Where is the best place to start learning?
Google.  Social media.  Searches lead to websites, websites lead to people, people lead to ideas, ideas lead to observations, observations leads to action, action leads to failure, failure leads to success.  What I'm really trying to say here is.. everywhere!!  Personally, I came across a few successful traders by doing research on the medical marijuana industry.  I was simply reading comments posted by Joe Shmoe's just like you and me, came across a name, threw it in google, and I have been off to the races ever since.  I believe in learning from everyone, whether it's what not to do or what to do, either way you are learning.  Because of this, I think you can learn from anybody.  That is the reason I put this page together.  Plenty have helped me learn and I want to help you learn.  They key is to just KEEP LEARNING.  I found a book that I use for my swing trading strategy by talking to traders in a day trading chatroom.  There are plenty of gurus out there that offer their trading wisdom.  These gurus charge a fee obviously, but so do college institutions, it's called an education fee.  However, their prices are much cheaper than institutions, and the piece of paper you receive after successful completion doesn't have your name on it; it has a dead presidents name on it instead.  There are also plenty of free youtube videos, websites, blogs, you name it, that could help get you started.  This is a marathon not a sprint.  Start jogging.
